Cala Ratjada weekly market

For many years, the weekly market has been held on Saturdays in the heart of Cala Ratjada, in the square on the street Carrer d'Elionor Servera. It all started with a few market stalls selling fresh fruit and vegetables. Later, many new dealers were added. Almost everything your heart desires can be found here. In addition to fruit and vegetables, some even from our own cultivation, there is a large number of, for example, pickled olives, many types of Balearic cheese, sausages such as the sobrasada (a Mallorcan paprika spread) or the Iberian ham, various types of honey, flowers, soaps, plants, basketry, Clothing, bags, leather goods, etc.

For a number of years now there have also been stalls selling handicrafts at the (play) area in the direction of the harbour. Here you can get wooden toys, silver jewellery, leather goods and much more.

If you want to start the Saturday in Cala Ratjada comfortably, go to one of the many small restaurants on the beach promenade and start with a great breakfast before enjoying the market flair!
